Waingongoro Swingbridge Replacement

The Waingongoro Swingbridge in Egmont National Park will be closed from late August/September 2011 to allow contractors to install a new bridge.

The section of Waingongoro Track from the Enchanted Track junction to the swingbridge will be closed during this time. There is no other access across the Waingongoro River. Alternate tracks are shown on the map above.
